Description
This is a rare original 1930s Zig-Zag Cigarette Papers advertising sign, hand-painted on porcelain enamel, salvaged from a historic smoke shop near Houston, Texas.
Crafted in the early 20th century, this vibrant yellow and black sign embodies the golden era of American tobacco advertising, featuring the iconic Zig-Zag sailor design. The sign remains in excellent vintage condition with natural aging, including minor chipping typical of original porcelain signs.
Adding an extraordinary layer of cultural value, this sign personally traveled to meet Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, legendary counterculture icons of the 1970s. Both Cheech and Chong signed the sign during a private meeting, making this not just a piece of advertising history but a one-of-a-kind fusion of classic Americana and cannabis culture.
