Artist Background:Born in Bucharest, Romania in 1908. He left for France while still in his teens to study law, but his love for art drew him away from the law books and prompted his travels across the world painting his sights along the way throughout France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Africa, finally residing in Brazil where he met the love ofhis life and got married. It was in Brazil where Deaca was selected to exhibit his work in the Exposicao Coletiva Da Galeria De Artes IV Centenario where he was awarded a Medal. Showcasing the best works of art from across the world during the four century period of 1554-1954. Deaca also spoke six languages fluently, but never mastered theEnglish language and oftentimes his wife would speak for him when they were in America.
